Our Story
Boxcar Revival began in 2015 with a road trip to harvest materials from retired American Boxcars. Walking through those railcars felt like stepping back in time, with every board and steel panel carrying decades of history, wear, and character.
That experience sparked a larger vision and ultimately led to the creation of Boxcar Woody. We saw the opportunity to reclaim authentic freight materials and give them new life in homes and businesses across the country. By carefully selecting, milling, and finishing each piece in our Stockyards City, Oklahoma workshop, we preserve the integrity of the original material while crafting products designed for modern spaces.
Today, Boxcar Woody carries forward the original mission of Boxcar Revival. Every piece we create reflects our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and honoring the legacy of American railroads by turning history into something functional, lasting, and meaningful.

Darryl and his crew designed a wormy maple barn door (200 lbs!) stained in special walnut. They connected us with an install team that did an amazing job blending it into our old, uneven doorway. We are so happy with this and are planning to have some more custom items done.
