How do I return an item?
Warranty Disclaimer: Boxcar Woody deals exclusively in reclaimed materials. This means our products might be sold in their original reclaimed state or might have some slight modifications whether finishes, touch ups, repairs, or other refinements. And because these are reclaimed materials, they could have many imperfections causing them to not look consistent with other like products we offer. It must be understood by you the customer, that we make no guarantees as to a particular fitness, condition, look, feel, specie, type, grade, finish, level of use, or other characteristic.
Our materials are gone through by hand in nearly every case to insure they meet our own standard for usability. This standard is coming from a wood workers perspective and our own experience having worked with said materials over the years to manufacture fine furniture. If you are unsure what you are purchasing or have little to no experience with using reclaimed materials, please consult an expert or friend who might give you some insight. We are always here to help and want to make sure your experience with Boxcar Woody keeps you coming back.
Returns: If the item you received was incorrect, please contact our customer service number 405.696.0010, ext 1, during the hours of 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday, for more information on getting it exchanged. If the item you received was damaged, please contact the freight carrier immediately to file a damage claim. Refer to our Shipping tab at the bottom of this site for detailed information. Freight damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, no exceptions.
We work hard to provide you with actual pictures and/or video of the items we offer for sale. This is the nature of our business given nearly every reclaimed piece is different. There is a unique SKU or Part number code associated with all of our products. This number will correlate with all pictures or sometimes video of the item(s) you purchased for reference. Please print or copy this collateral to your own device for future reference.
As a standard disclaimer, there are no returns accepted outside of these terms and conditions. With that said, special circumstances can arise and we would ask that you call our customer service number or send an email regarding the circumstances you have encountered. Our goal is to provide you with the best customer service possible and this can only happen with good communication before and after the sale. Thank you again for choosing us and our products!
Freight Truck Delivery
All of our wood packages will come on a skid measuring around 100" long x 30" wide x 15" tall. Flat car and Beam light package dimensions will vary. Depending on the package you choose, it can weight between 260 to 600 lbs. Freight charges are broken into 2 shipping zones based on our location and is flat rate from our terminal to a business address with a dock or to the nearest terminal to you. You tracking information will contain the location of this terminal and contact number if it is not coming to your residence or business. If skid is going to a terminal, the staff will bring the skid to your vehicle and will either load it in the bed of a truck or on a trailer for you. Otherwise, you can remove the wood from the container by hand and self load.
If you wish to have the skid delivered to a residential address, please add an additional $95 for lift gate service. The driver will NOT be able to move the skid beyond the point of removal from the truck (ie. garage, porch, backyard, etc). In this case, be sure the skid does not get direct exposure to water if you are leaving it for any period of time outside as moisture could damage the contents.
If the skid appears to have some obvious damage, and you believe the contents may have been damaged as well, please open the skid to view the contents. If the merchandise shows damage you will need to make a judgement call as to whether to accept the skid or refuse it. Either way, it will become your responsibility to contact the freight carrier immediately to file a damage claim. Secondly, please send us several pictures of the damage to the packaging and or merchandise. This must be done within 48 hours of receipt of the package. There are no returns accepted outside of these terms and conditions. We take great care in packaging your items but have also learned anything can happen. Thank you
