Scottsdale Table

This table incorporates our 5" Boxcar plank- usually reclaimed from the earlier cars going back to the 1940s. The species of wood that are most common and that we've harvested thus far have been pine and bloodwood. This species is the rarest of the planks. This material comes from cars sitting out of circulation way beyond the regulated 50-year life of a train car. We use two types of finish on this build. Those include light to medium sand and then wax- or, medium sand and completed with a lacquer finish.
